From the Peruvian lands of the ancient Inca Empire to the Ecuadorian islands those once housed pirates; this extensive tour will take you over two mystical regions and all the beautiful landscapes found along the way for a once in a lifetime voyage.

  • Immerse yourself in the culture and history of the cities of Peru.
  • Travel through the Sacred Valley and witness the majestic landscape from vantage points.
  • Walk around the ruins of the wondrous Machu Picchu, a testament to the glory of the Inca Empire.
  • Traverse the waters of the Galapagos Islands and view volcanic rock formations and hidden coves.
  • View a number of marine animals on the various islands scattered throughout the Galapagos.

Day 1  Fly to Galapagos

5 days/4 nights Finch Bay Eco Hotel Land & Sea Programme (in Double Finch Bay Room)

Program includes:

  • Ground transfers in/out in Galapagos (shared service).

  • 4 nights of accommodation, including breakfast.

  • 1 full day island yacht exploration (North Seymour, South Plaza, Santa Fe and Bartolome; island will be confirmed upon booking aboard the hotel's own yacht, the Sea Lion or similar craft).

  • 1 full day land exploration with lunch.

  • Snorkel equipment.

Not included:

  • Galapagos National Park entrance fee US$200 per person (subject to change without previous notice).
  • Transit Control Card US$20 per person (subject to change without previous notice).
  • Alcoholic beverages, gratuities/tips, laundry or valet services.

Optional activities with extra cost: kayaking, mountain biking, diving and surfing.

Vessels available: M/Y Sea Lion and similar craft. The island visited during the day tour depends on the itinerary approved for each vessel by the Galapagos National Park Service. Galapagos itineraries are subject to change due to weather conditions, logistical reasons, guests' safety or Galapagos National Park Regulations.

Day 5  Fly to Quito

Private transfer from Quito Airport to your hotel. 2 nights accommodation in Quito.

Day 6  Quito

Half day private city tour of Quito including visit to Centre of the World (the point where you can stand on the Equator).

Day 7  Fly to Puerto Maldonado, Peru

Private transfer from your hotel to Quito Airport. Fly to Puerto Maldonado via Lima.

Day 7  Puerto Maldonado

4 days/3 nights at Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica, with full board accommodation

Arrive in Puerto Maldonado and transfer to Tambopata river dock. A 30-minute ride to Infierno, followed by a 45-minute boat trip to Posadas Amazonas. Walk to the 35-metre scaffolding to get a spectacular view of the forest and river. Opportunity to observe parrots, toucans and macaws. Briefing on the Infierno Community’s Ecotourism Project.

Days 8/9  Tres Chimbadas

A feast of wildlife watching including visits to Tres Chimbadas oxbow lake; canoe rides looking for giant otters, turtles and lakeside wildlife; a visit to a clay lick where blue-headed and orange-cheeked parrots and cobalt-winged parakeets congregate; optional night walks to look for amphibians and insects.

Day 10  Travel to Cusco

Boat trip to Puerto Maldonado and transfer to the airport for the journey to Cusco. Private transfer from Cusco Airport to hotel. 3 nights accommodation in Cusco.

Day 11  Cusco City Tour

Morning city tour including the Plaza de Armas, Cathedral, Santo Domingo Church (Koricancha), and the surrounding ruins of Puka Puka, Kenko, Tampi Machay, and the renowned fortress and religious site of Sacsayhuaman. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 12  Machu Picchu

Private transfer from hotel to Poroy train station; train tickets on the Vistadome train from Poroy to the village of Machu Picchu; shared guided tour of the ancient citadel of Machu Picchu including lunch. Afternoon Vistadome train back to Poroy Station and transfer to your hotel.

Day 13  Arequipa

Private transfer from your hotel to Cusco Airport for the journey to Arequipa. Private transfer from Arequipa Airport to the hotel. Afternoon city tour of the White City, including the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, La Compañía Church and the famous Monastery of Santa Catalina, and city’s picturesque surroundings.

Day 14  Arequipa

Morning tour of the outskirts of Arequipa, passing through Socabaya and the famous Yumina terraces. Visit the colonial-style Molino de Sabandina, whose big millstones were moved by hydraulic power. This tour also includes the Mansion del Fundador. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the city.

Day 15  Departure from Arequipa

Private transfer from hotel to Arequipa Airport.
