Day 1  Bariloche

Day 2  Bariloche

Half-day Circuito Chico Excursion - Private Service with English speaking guide. Today, you will discover the picturesque town of Bariloche and its surroundings by doing the "Circuito Chico" tour (Short Circuit). It starts by going along Nahuel Huapi Lake all the way up to Bonita Beach, where the Huemul Island can be seen. Later, you will arrive at the foothill of Cerro Campanario (1,050 metres / 3,500 feet above sea level) where a chair lift can take visitors up to the top and appreciate the beautiful landscape surrounding Bariloche. The highlights are the Nahuel Huapi and Perito Moreno Lakes, the Trebol Lagoon, the San Pedro and Llao Llao peninsulas, Victoria Island, the Otto, Lopez, Catedral and Goye mountains. Continuing the trip, you will pass by the San Pedro Peninsula and will get to the Llao Llao peninsula where it is possible to see the renowned hotel and the local San Bernardo church. You will pass by the hotel golf courses, the bridge over the Angostura River and that joins the Moreno and Nahuel Huapi lakes. The next stop will be at a natural lookout point. Then, after going around El Trebol lagoon, you will start heading back to the city closing and finishing this circuit. Overnight - breakfast included.

Day 3  San Martín de los Andes Excursion

Shared service with English speaking guide. The tour departs from Bariloche along the National Route No. 40 northwards; you will go 21 km (13 mi) across the Huemul Peninsula and passing by the Manzano Pier so as to arrive at Villa La Angostura town. From here, you will take the “Seven Lakes” Road towards San Martin de los Andes. In some parts, the road is winding, in others it goes across deep forests of “cohiues” trees. You will go alongside the Correntoso Lake and will cross over the river carrying the same name before getting to a small town, named Ruca Malen. After passing by the Portezuelo, you will border Villarino, Falkner, Hermoso and Meliquinia Lakes before arriving in San Martin de los Andes, located on the shores of the Lacar Lake. After visiting the town, you will return to Bariloche will be along National Road No. 237 in the afternoon. Overnight - breakfast included.

Day 4  Gutierrez Lake Kayak Excursion

Shared service with English speaking guide. The activity starts at Lake Gutierrez coast, surrounded by a landscape of forests and mountains. We row about one hour to arrive at the forest for a short hike. After that, we have a rest with hot drinks and handmade gingerbread. Then we return for the same way rowing about one hour. Overnight - breakfast included.

Day 5  Bariloche/Mendoza

Day 6  Mendoza

Half-day Mountain Bike and Wineries Excursion: shared service with English speaking guide. We will leave Mendoza city to head for Chacras de Coria, a small residential village surrounded by vineyards, tree lined streets, and a variety of architectural styles- ranging from large traditional houses to ultra-modern homes and exquisite mansions. As time has gone by, this area has acquired an immense beauty and a natural comfort. Before starting the trip the guides will deliver a speech on security measures. Then, we will visit Chacras de Coria and two different wineries. There, we will get to know the amazing world of the winemaking process and finally we will taste their outstanding wines. Afterwards, we will have a regional substantial lunch at a nearby wine cellar. Undoubtedly, this is a unique experience you should go through. Overnight - breakfast included.

Day 7  Mendoza

Full-day trekking - Confluencia - Aconcagua Park: shared service with English speaking guide. We leave Mendoza on the International Route N 7, through the central Andes to reach Horcones. An incredible path starts from there, to reach Horcones Lagoon (2,950 metres above sea level). After an hour walk, we reach the famous hanging bridge on the Horcones River and the “Quebrada del Durazno” (Peach’s Gorge). We take a break there to enjoy the scenery. After another 2 hours, we reach Confluencia (3,300 metres above sea level) the first base camp of the highest peak of South America, the Aconcagua (6,962 metres). In this lovely area, we will enjoy our lunch and finally, some rest too. After getting to know a bit more about mountaineering, we will return to Horcones. Overnight - breakfast included.

Day 8  Mendoza/Iguazu Falls

Day 9  Full-day Argentinian Falls Excursion

Private Service with English speaking guide. The visit to the Iguazu National Park can be done via 3 circuits and on catwalks, best known as Lower Path, Higher path and the Devil's Throat Path.

  • The Lower Path is a 1,200-metre-walk (0.8 miles) that gives a great view of the majority of the rapids and falls from a front and lower point of view. The distances range from a bird’s eye point of view of The Devil’s Throat together with several Brazilian rapids, to spectacular close-ups to other falls. This walk has some high difficulty level due to the number of steps along the way. (Approximate duration: 2 hours).
  • The Higher Path is a 1,300-metre-walk (0.9 miles) that will raise every visitor´s adrenaline level because of the vertigo of being at the edge of some waterfalls. This walk has breathtaking sceneries from a cliff-point outlook and this is the less effort demanding walk of the three traditional ones. No steps along the way. (Approximate duration: 1 hour).
  • The Devil’s Throat has to be access via the Ecological Jungle Train, and everyone must get off at the stop named after this waterfall. From there, there is a stroll along the catwalk which is a winding path that goes around the islands for 1,100 metres (0.7 miles) and ends in the large balconies located on the edge of falls. There are no steps along the path. (Approximate duration: 2 hours).

Great Adventure Navigation – Shared service with English speaking guide. The Great Adventure is a unique trip that combines the whole essence of the Iguassu National Park in one ride: the rainforest and the waterfalls. It starts by entering the jungle from the “Yacaratía” trail with a special transportation that allows a panoramic view of the environment along with experienced guides that provide information as well as the history of this spectacular place. After an 8 km (5 mi) truck ride, the vehicle arrives at Macuco Pier so as to board on motor-boats and go through the Canyon of the Iguassu River, towards the falls. After enjoying the view of the calm side of the San Martin Island the vessel will sail to The Three Musketeers waterfall. At that point, the Brazilian and Argentinean sides and the Devil’s Throat can be clearly appreciated. After that, the boat will sail along the shore of the island so as to get to the most exciting part facing the San Martin waterfall, a wonderful and unforgettable experience, for it’s the largest waterfall any motor-boat can approach safely. The end of this tour is at the base of the lower circuit where visitors go back to the trails. Duration: 1 hour. Difficulty: 100 meters of stairs. Overnight - breakfast included.

Day 10  Half-day Brazilian Falls Excursion

Private Service with English speaking guide. The Brazilian Falls are located on the western side of the Paraná State in Brazil. They were declared Natural World Heritage in the year 1986 by the UNESCO. This Brazilian park with 185,000 hectares (458,000 acres) borders the Argentinean National Park and they are divided by the Iguazu River. Both parks make this region one of the largest natural protected areas in South America. The tour starts at the Visitors’ Center, designed to be the access to the park. The building functions as an embarking and disembarking station for visitors. In order to be able to start the circuits along the catwalk floors, every visitor must take one of the modern panoramic view busses so as to move safely within the park. The length of the catwalk floors is 1,200 meters (0.8 miles) from where it is possible to get a breathtaking view of the 275 waterfalls. The four main rapids on the Brazilian side are: Floriano, Deodoro, Benjamín Constant and Salto Unión or The Devil's Throat. At the end of the path everyone will get on a panoramic elevator that will take them to the bus units. Helicopter Overflight (10 min) Excursion - Shuttle Service with English speaking guide. 10 minutes after having crossed the border into Brazil, and just before the Visitors' Center for the park, it is possible to find the Helisul Ltd. Office, company in charge of offering the Helicopter tours over the falls, the tri-border (Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina) and the Itaipu dam. Overnight - breakfast included.

Day 11  Iguazu Falls/Buenos Aires

Day 12  Buenos Aires

Half-day City Tour (4 hrs) and Tango Show with dinner: private service with English speaking guide. The tour includes attractions such as the 9 de Julio Avenue, the Obelisk and Corrientes Street. The first stop will be in the Plaza de Mayo so as to visit the Cathedral and the Cabildo (Old City Hall). After that, the trip will continue towards the most traditional neighborhood of Buenos Aires, San Telmo, which is characterized by its old colonial houses and the cobblestoned streets. Later on, the tour will go to La Boca Neighborhood located in the south of the city. There will be a new scheduled stop so as to look around the colorful zinc houses that make up this area of Buenos Aires and that used to be the refuge and home for the first immigrants and popular artists. Soon after, the vehicle continues to Puerto Madero – the old port of the city that was turned into one of the most exclusive gastronomic and residential areas in Buenos Aires. The tour will go to Palermo: one of the most extended areas in the city and where it is possible to find the popular woods of Palermo with more or less 300 ha (741 acres) of gardens and artificial ponds surrounded by elegant buildings. Finally, the last point in the tour is Recoleta, which is one of the most selected neighborhoods and where, among other attractions, the Recoleta Cemetery can be found. Also, there are bars, cafes and fancy restaurants that are worth a visit. Here will be the last stop so as to walk to the cemetery area and its surroundings.

Café de los Angelitos Dinner Tango Show Excursion with English speaking guide. “Cafe de los Angelitos” is a live witness of more than one hundred years of Buenos Aires history with a parade of the most outstanding personalities of the political and artistic atmosphere from the 20th century. The mystical coffee house, inaugurated in 1890 with name of Bar Rivadavia by the Italian Bautisto Fazio, became a meeting point for “compadritos” (swaggerers) and “malandras” (scoundrels) towards the end of the 19th Century. With rudimentary premises and a dirt floor, the place was a scenario for the verbal duels of gaucho minstrels Gabino Ezeiza, Higuito Cazon and Jose Betinotti Remodeled again following an ambitious architecture project, conformed by three levels, it exhibits luxury and distinction every night with 21 artists that perform this live show. Overnight - breakfast included.

Day 13  Colonia del Sacramento (Uruguay)

The tour starts at the pier of Buenos Aires to take the ferry to Colonia del Sacramento, the only city with Portuguese occupation in the Rio de La Plata area. It was founded as Nova Colonia do Sacramento in 1680 by Manuel de Lobo. For years, it was a port for the black market since the Spanish taxes were avoided there. Once in Colonia del Sacramento, the tour will go around the historical neighborhood, which was declared World Heritage by the UNESCO in 1995 since it proves to be a wonderful mixture of the Portuguese, Spanish and Post-Colonial styles and influence.
