Tour - A Closer Look at Colchagua


We depart from our hotel in Santiago to the Colchagua Valley, one of the most fertile valleys in Chile for wine production, especially reds worldly known by its quality. To begin we will visit the Colchagua Museum. This institution has the most complete private collection in Chile and it holds many surprises for us to find while walking through this unforgettable building. To continue we will enjoy a delicious lunch in Los Varietales, restaurant from the Santa Cruz Plaza Hotel and to continue with our tour we will visit Santa Cruz winery, located 25 km. away from Santa Cruz, near to Lolol. We will tour around their facilities and taste their iconic wine: Chamán. We will also have the opportunity to ride the cable car to visit the indigenous villages where the Aymara, Rapa Nui and Mapuche Cultures have been recreated. To end our day we will visit the Automobile Museum, an exhibition of a large collection of vintage cars, dating from the 1890’s to the 1980’s. Upon completion of our last tour, we will return to our hotel in Santiago.
