Two lines of rooms merging into the hillside overlook the shore and are criss-crossed by a corridor. The hotel is roofed with grass and grass bricks cover the exterior walls as used by the first settlers. These external features give the feeling of the hotel merging with nature without altering the landscape and decreasing the visual impact. Inside the hotel is designed to give the feeling of being sheltered and at the same time interacting with outside.
The hotel has beautiful views of Ultima Esperanza Sound and the Balmaceda Glacier. The decoration is minimalistic, almost nonexistent colour, high-lighting the use of raw materials such as natural wood, stone floor slate, concrete, rusty iron, glass and colour pigments included in the cement walls. Concrete, cypress wood and iron furniture was especially designed for the hotel.
Merging into the hillside overlooking Ultima Esperanza Sound and the Baquedano Glacier, Altiplanico Patagonia in Puerto Natales offers an experience that combines awe inspiring nature and the interior charm of the Altiplanico style. The hotel features 22 uniquely designed rooms with the stunning Patagonian landscape as your guest, providing shelter from the powerful climate and inviting you to relax in a hot tub overlooking the cold waters of this southern latitude.
Free WiFi access throughout the hotel. Hot tub. Massages. Bar-Restaurant. Laundry service. Special room for film viewing.
The hotel features 22 spacious double and triple rooms, all with a spectacular views of Ultima Esperanza Sound. They have a phone, safe, wake-up alarm service, WiFi internet and central heating. The concept favors beauty over luxury so the decoration is simple, refined and cozy. Although the basic design and overlooking views are the same in every room, they have been decorated differently so that guests will feel at home rather than in a hotel.
